I stayed in this hotel for one night. Booked directly... While checkout, the lady at counter handed over a printed handed over a hand written bill. When I asked for a computerized bill, in a very rough tone the man standing near the counter said we don't have computerized bill. Also she denied taking payment by card. The man said in a very rough tone CAN YOU PAY BY CASH... as if threatening me... On saying my company does not accept hand written bills and cash payments, he said that is your problem... I have stayed in hundreds of hotels owing to my nature of job. I have not seen such arrogant people in hospitality industry.

This place is near paltan bazaar, on rajpura road. we went there for food and had the worst food. Salt was high, crowd was not good. Staff was still nice, but food was aweful. I recommend eat street food than eating food here, as street food will be more tasty.

Stayed at Moti Mahal during my recent visit to Dehradun. The location of the hotel is bang on the Rajpur Road commercial area. However, the rooms continue to be sub-standard. It was supposed to be a delux room but it was pretty basic & there was nothing delux about it. In the name of toiletries.there was one small soap & a shampoo sachet of Rs. 1 !! Had food at the hotel's restaurant. The food was ok but the prices are steep. There are many better options available.

The room was in need of maintenance, bed-sheets dotted here and there, one long, black hair over the bed. There was no possibility to change air and, as the smell of the room was demonstrating, it was a long time since that happened the last time. Staff cleaned floors with dirty mops. The quality of the food in the restaurant is scarce if not worst. On Lonely Planet it was written that this Hotel was "unspotted", most probably they have been here very long ago.
